Went to watch The Lake House yesterday.





it's actually a remake of the Korean movie, Il Mare.



Very very very NICE! MUST GO WATCH! ^^

The plot is rather complicated though, but it's so sweettt!

Sometimes I can't help but feel a twinge of jealousy about seeing the other people of my age going out with guys.

One clear example is my good friend, Jia Ling.

Jia Ling is a lovely (I'm sure) girl who has plenty of overactive testorone boys chasing after her. She has the looks, the personality, and le flair to attract almost all the guys to her.

2 guys were head over heels in love with her. After a brief tussle (pardon the pun), Jason Liow emerged victorious to woo the lovely lady.

The last time Jia Ling and I got punished, (we were supposed to copy pages out of the home econs textbook) Jason Liow stood by her, and even helped her copy out pages of the textbook (or should I say MAJORITY :P).

I was struggling alone.

I can't help myself but envy all the fairytale endings of seedy Taiwanese dramas (Note: It Started with a Kiss) and couples canoodling in the various romantic hotspots (FULLERTON (:) And the corny endearments that they exchanged with each other.

BUT, I told myself I will marry my first love, regardless how rich he is or how handsome he is. If he's blessed with both, it'll be a plus point.

now I have no choice but to watch more seedy Korean and Taiwanese dramas. Hah.

Watched a bit of IJukSa (I Jukil Nomui Sarang, A Love to Kill) at Irene Ma's house. Turns out that Rain *ahem* that Shin Min Ah, I mean, FORCEFULLY. That gesture alone can cause grandmothers to poop in their pants. I turned away in disgust. Why doesn't he choose the other girl, the Kim Sa Rang? Her character in the story is better than Shin Min Ah's (personal opinion) anyway.

Science was ok. I got screwed up with the formulae for household electricity =X

The Exploits of a Regular Casanova - Formal Version

It was a hot, summer night. The sky was pitch black, and beads of sweat clung to the nape of my neck, and clumped my hair together. I was in my tuxedo, like a well-dressed wolf ready topounce on the unsuspecting sheep. I looked in the rear view mirror of my Porsche. Damien,you sexy old devil. She will be bowled over by your masculine charms.

I retrieved the roses from the backseat. They were red, a deep crimson. They stod for blood, and rejection. This was ging to be her first date with me, and her last. I adjusted my tie and suit, practiced my killer gaze for the last time, and sauntered u the crazy paving path to her house. I rang the doorbell.

She was dazzling. One of the prime people up the list. Numero Uno. She appeared in a figure-hugging little black dress bedecked with sequins. I gave her my killer smile, and she looked away, a little smile plastered onher lips. I saw her blush - who wouldn't blush upon seeing me?

"Honey, you look fabulous." I grabbed her waist, and brought her down in a downward arc, planting a kiss on her upper chest, just below the neck (Writer: NOT ON THE CHEST, YOU DIRTY-MINDED BUGGERS!). I felt her shiver, and I caressed her waist lightly. Heck, if you guys want to do this, might as well enjoy yourself by seeing the lady have a triple orgasm.

Anyone could clearly see that I've swept her off her feet. I led her to the car, and opened the door for her, like a perfect gentleman. I got into the car on the other side, and inserted the key into the ignition, and drove off.

When I die.

When I die, I would like to be dressed in a white, silk dress, with white, no, cream coloured roses by my side, littering the coffin. Red roses can be included too.

I would like to have a white coffin, and any kind of music to be played, except those Marilyn Manson rock kind of things. Korean Pop and Japanese Pop are welcome too.

I want people to remember me as someone who inspired them to do what they want to do. The woman who helped you when you fell down at the roughest time of your life; the woman who was your best friend (FAITH! (:); the woman who encouraged you to move mountains; the woman who loves you as much as she loves herself; and the woman who has made a difference in society.


I would love for my coffin to be scrawled and defaced with notes from the people attending my duneral, and then varnish it, so that the scribbles could be there forever, with my ashes.

I would like to be cremated, after I have donated my internal organs. I want to make a difference in other's lives too. If my husband is already dead, I would like to be buried/stored with him. Be it Singapore or Korea.

If my husband is alive, I would like to say this things to him, "Please play the first song that you've written for me at the funeral."

After my death, I would like everyone to remember me like how they remember Wee Kim Wee, and they would never forget me.

My obituary? Not those "I have fought the good fight, and I will keep the faith." bible phrases. If it has to be one, choose an appopriate one. Not those old cliches.

Well, thinking of death must not be a taboo, we must accept it as a natural thing.

Got trashed in Learning Lab by Zi Yang today. We were debating on whether the death penalty should be abolished.

Zi Yang, COME ON, it's just a friendly DEBATE for GOD'S SAKE. Why do you need to get so worked up? And, if you yell like that to the opposition, you will lose for sure.

When it was my turn to speak to the proposition, Zi Yang bombarded me with abysmal questions, for example,

"Why, indeed, I put this question to you that, the death penalty should remain? Must it be a life for a life? What if the said individual wants to repent? What if..."

Gods, I swear if Miss Cheong hadn't been there, I would go straight over and slapped him on the face.

Not in the mood to blog that much now. Something happened.

Top 10 things you probably don't know about me

1) I'm emotional, but I know better to let emotions to take control of me. I will cry when it's really serious, but well.

2) I LOVE RAIN JEONG JI-HOON. ok. that wasn't -necessary-. LOL, Renie. And Faith just loves to call me Mrs Jeong. =X I have posters of him on the wall (: hey, you never know. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, REMEMBER?

3) I sing on the way home. Yes. If you just happen to walk behind me and you have spectacles, you'd better keep them. I sing okay though.

4) I play the erhu. Yes, that "ee ee orh orh" Chinese Musical Instrument. I'm not any grade though.

5) I love anything languages, and general knowledge like Current Affairs, etc etc. It just interests me. I'm learning Korean and Japanese now, alongside Chinese.

6) I'm a premature baby. By 1 month. I'm still very much alive, thank you.

7) I love the number 7! I LOVEITLOVEITLOVEIT!

8) When I'm commited to a friendship and relationship, I keep it seriously. but most of the time, people play me out and use me as a doormat to step on instead. Sad, I know.

9) My dad's jealous of Rain. Because Rain has a 6-pack and Dad doesn't. HAH.

The Nanyang I remember.

I came from Nanyang Primary School, which offers classic Chinese education to educate the younger generation with traditional Chinese values. *GASP!* They also force students to be "effectly bilingual", in preperation for them to become the country's future leaders. (Look at Lee Hsien Loong.)

1. Girls have to keep short hair, just under the earlobe. If you have a reason to keep long hair, eg. ballet, you have to have a permission pass.

2. We have to sing the school song EVERYDAY, and the school song is in CHINESE. Will post lyrics.

3. Girls are not allowed to use hairbands or clips.

4. Almost all the paper there is one of those stinky shit-coloured paper which breaks when you use an eraser to rub it too hard.

5. The paper for workbooks are like rice paper. Soft and silky. You have to buy 2 erasers.

6. And after the end of recess or the start of assembly, a Chinese "communist-like" war tune is played. Maybe this was invoked by Chairman Mao?

7. The Monitors and the Prefects wear different coloured sashes, eg. Environment Monitor = Dark Green, Discpline Monitor = Purple, Safety Monitor = White, Prefect = Blue. I was the Discipline Monitor.

8. We were given badges, such as Young Botanist, Biologist, Environmentalist, etc, in different aspects of Science. I was the Young Botanist and Biologist.

9. Music lessons = total boredom. Instead of letting us play the piano, we're given dreaded RECORDER pieces to play. Mr Chiew (living specimen that Professor Utonium actually exists) is a living hell.

10. Pupils don't keep in touch after graduation. For me, it's the GEPers and Justus and Prisia, that is. I'm from 1G '99, 2G '00, 3G '01, 4E '02, 5C '03, 6C '04.

11. No one takes interest in the Chinese Orchestra already. It's reduced to a pathetic blob now.

12. We have an alternate week for Chinese and English books. For the weeks, we have to say the PLEDGE in CHINESE and ENGLISH respectively.

13. Students are booked for not bringing books burning Silent Reading, speaking coarse language, fighting, untucked shirts for boys, talking while walking.

14. Mrs Tang once said, " No talking while walking."

15. Names are reduced to the hanyu pinyin, so in Primary School I was called Ru-Ting. But the lifted the ban in 2001, so I was called Naomi instead.

16. ONLY white canvas shoes are allowed, to match the white uniform and blouse.

17. Muzak, cheesy remixed songs like Edelwiess are played at the end of each period, scaring away the pigeons who were shitting on the rooftop.

18. Primary 6 people are banned from going to Coronation Plaza, the nearest shopping complex. The ban was also put convinently AFTER PSLE.

19. We have to wear nametags. SEWN ON somemore.

20. Our houses are named, Diligence (Yellow) [Qin], Prudence (Blue) [Zheng], Respectiblity (Green) [Duan], Simplicity (Red) [Pu]. I was in Respectiblity.

21. While at the old campus, we wondered what was behind the locked doors of the old NYGH which now, the new campus of NYPS is. Hais. I miss that school.

Things that we did:

1. Climb up the mountain (and getting ourselves hurt in the process)
2.Create concoctions of drinks, with ketchup and chilli sause inside mayo mixed with Sarsi
3. Make a fort out of stationery
4. Asking people corny jokes, eg. "Spell MINS." (aM I aN aSS)
5. Sucking nectar from ixora flowers.
6. Sliding down the staircase railings while sitting on it, and get your skirt all red. (That happened to Prisia and I)
7. Play 'catching' infront of the general office.
8. Scatter thumbtacks all over the floor, when Mrs Cheryl Lim comes, it'll all be stuck to sole of her shoe
9. Challenge the teacher with facts relating to the subject
10. Play at the giant steps (OH HOW I LOVE THOSE STEPS)


And I remember, in Primary 2, Prisia and I were taking the chalk powder (yes, CHALK) to put all over the feather duster that the teacher uses to bang on the table. The teacher took it up, and chalk dust started flying everywhere xD

I WENT TO RAIN'S JOYPLACE WEBSITE AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT OR WHERE IT IS. IT LOCKED ME OUT.

Then this site with all Korean characters came out and I was all, "WTH."

Gods. What a language barrier. Sheesh.

And I'm so screwed la. I'm taking O Level Music next year. And it's going to add on to my onslaught of enrichment classes, tuition and responsibilities.

But never mind! You can have enough sleep when you're dead.

Exams in 3 weeks time!

WAS ALL THESE TRULY NECESSARY?

To waste your saliva saying, "FASTER LEH." "YOU SUCK." instead of keeping it and use it for something else? (Like talking some more, that is.)

I just shake my head, and walk away. I can't be bothered for nuts.

The world is full of problems, and why do you want to make it even heavier by adding some more?

Little wonder why Singapore was ranked 35th in the Reader's Digest poll of Most Polite Cities in 2006. Pfft. yes, that's right, PFFT.

That is what Singaporean fans have said and done; by buying him a Business Class air ticket from Seoul to Singapore. The air ticket was said to be worth $3300 Singapore Dollars.

"We're not pressing him to come, we're just sending him the ticket to show how much we really wanted him to come."

To tell you the truth, I did not contribute, but badly wanted to. They have to transfer the money to accounts by ATM, and I don't know how to operate that system. =X

But if they had allowed people to meet up and pass the money in cold hard cash, I could go and pass it to them.

Oh well. I can just support from behind the scenes by just going to his concert. (:

Rain mentioned that he is a very jealous person, and will not allow his girlfriend to betray him. He also shouted loudly to his Japanese fans, "You're not allowed to ditch me!" and admitted that he is loyal in love. However, if his girlfriend ditches him mala fide, he will be so angry he'll look for a new girl instantly.

THEY ACTUALLY BOUGHT A STAR IN THE STARRY SKY AND NAMED IT AFTER RAIN.

Hong Kong fans spent like, HK 30 000 on the freaking star in the sky.

I MEAN, IT'S A STAR FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE. (Pardon the pun.)

I mean, I thought it was retarded. But it's kinda sweet though. (: Hope I will have one someday when he buys it for me (: Shows how much he loves me =X

I'm having problems locating it right now... so I can make a wish upon HIS star. (:

I'm making stars out of straws. LOL.
